The business of Mr. Manolis Sourgiadakis, based in Ierapetra, Crete, is a family business that started in 1983 and continues to this day headed by his agronomist son, Konstantinos Sourgiadakis. Initially, the business focused on organic banana cultivation until 1989, when we switched to conventional tomato cultivation and hydroponics. Since 2005, we have returned exclusively to the organic cultivation of tropical fruits such as bananas, papayas, dragon fruit, avocados and mangoes, as well as the production of genetic material (plants) of these crops.

Our commitment to organic methods is absolute. We use earthworms and breed local aerial insects, without chemicals or even permitted organic drugs, thus ensuring 100% organic products.

Our business is mainly addressed to professionals for wholesale, but we also sell our products to retail, through organic markets in Athens. We participate in organic markets in areas such as Kifissia, Nea Smyrni, Ilioupoli, Filothei, Cholargos, Kaisariani, Voula, Ilion, and many others.

Our production includes bananas of the local variety of Crete (Arbis), papayas from Thailand and Latin America, as well as over 30 varieties of dragon fruit in various colors. Our cultivation is based on the right environmental conditions and natural techniques, so that we completely avoid the use of chemicals.

We mainly turn to organic shops and export companies for the supply of our products, both retail and wholesale.
